    1. I suspect there are enough copies out there that $50 is rather ambitious. I think a $20 call is more likely given the kind of selling pressure that is going to arise should the card show that it can hold value over the $10 mark , which it didn’t with the original round of hype.

Put it this way, I have no clue how many James is holding, but I am holding over 100 copies of the foil, and 400-500 copies of the regular. If the price got anywhere near $50, I’m all in to sell, and I image James would be, assuming we still have copies at that point, as I would empty my box for $20 a copy.

I should be getting rid of a bunch now, as I paid no more than 1.50 a foil copy, but, like many, I have a good feeling that this card has plenty of long term potential, especially considering that WotC doesn’t seem to get tired of printing +1/+1 counter cards. Enough so that I am willing to miss the boat once more should the recent gains prove to be nothing more than hype.

Having said that, I sure am hoping your call is correct.

      1. Yeah, if I’m that deep, I usually sell in chunks up the curve so long as I think other opportunities will yield better results via reinvestment. $50 seems high as the card isn’t that high impact in EDH, but $15-20 should happen this year and will be a solid result.
