PROTRADER: Not My Fifth Dawn Review

So I originally promised that today would be the Fifth Dawn review, and you’ll see that in this space before long (probably), but there is something else I want to talk about first, and it may turn out to be one of the more interesting finance topics of the year.

What do you know about the Magic board game?

Yes, I’m serious.

  1. If landfall comes back in BFZ, I still believe that enemy fetches will be reprinted in “tears”. Just speculating, but when KTK rotates, enemy fetches will be required to feed landfall 😛

  2. Do you think the lack of fetch reprints will cause hikes on decks not dependent at all on fetches, like Merfolk? Master of waves was on today’s movers page by the way

    1. That’s a really good call. I think those decks will see an uptick once people figure that out.

I also think people overemphasize the importance of fetchlands, but that’s because so few understand developing manabases.

  3. When I first saw that WOTC was releasing a board game, I wanted to check it out. Then I saw what it looked like, and the first thing I thought was ” Oh, it looks like Heroscape, I guess I won’t be buying that!!!”
